Reality is few weeks from now and I’m officially a college student. Those things that I do when I’m still a high school student would be a lot different at college. Photoshoots every weekend might be turned into a once a month basis. Studying before the test might not work as well, maybe studying the day before the test wouldn’t be effective too.
University of Santo Tomas
While waiting for my blockmates, opportunity presented itself to snap pictures of the beautiful campus of the University of Santo Tomas. I have been publicly schooled for so long that I forget that private schools have their own rules. As I was taking photographs, a security personnel told me to refrain from doing so lest “father” confiscate my camera. Yo sinceramente perdón por la intrusión.
Tiger Fever: Part 1.
I was in the University of Santo Tomas last week (April 20, Friday) with my evil slash bitchy friend Alwyn then we were eventually joined by Jared who was like a tour guide to us. Haha! We had a photo walk or some sort in UST so I had the chance to practice my photography skills with my new camera.
I believe that the photo walk really served its purpose because at the end of the day, when I looked at my photos (and trimmed them down from 200something to 30something), I realized that most of them were too bright, some were too dark, some were overexposed, blah blah. Oh well, I am looking forward to more photo walks soon! Experience really is the best teacher. LOL, what?
Anyway, I am still posting some of the decent (the word “decent” here is based on my own objection, LOL) photographs I came up with during the two-hour photo walk. Haha! Here;
I Come from a Place of Unending Grace
On this day, 401 years ago. Upon instructions from then Archbishop of Manila Miguel de Benavides, UST was founded.
Happy 401!
Happy 401 years, University of Santo Tomas!

“The founding of the University of Santo Tomas followed on April 28, 1611. The original campus was located in Intramuros, the Walled City of Manila. UST was first called Colegio de Nuestra Señora del Santisimo Rosario, and later renamed Colegio de Santo Tomas, in memory of the foremost Dominican Theologian, St. Thomas Aquinas.”
